As far back as I can remember, I have always had a passion for dancing! My mom says I was born with rhythm! At the age of 3, she enrolled me in a professional dance class where I learned ballet, tap and jazz. My dance instructor was impressed with my ability to quickly learn the dance routines and allowed me to work with my peers to assist them with learning the routines as well. During my several years in the dance class, I performed in numerous dance recitals. When I enrolled in elementary school, I took advantage of any opportunities to perform in dance, the marching band and singing in the chorus! While in high school and college, I was a member of the cheerleading team where I created and taught many of the dances and cheers, we used. Dancing has many physical and mental benefits, however, it’s what I do for fun even when I don’t have an audience!
